That is what caps a solo practice. Not the work. The carrying of it.
What it is costing you now
Count the hours you spend in a month on booking, invoicing, filing, chasing and remembering. Put your own rate against them. That is the first number, it is the same every month, and it goes up as the practice grows rather than down.
There is a second cost and it is the worse one, because it never appears in a timesheet. It is the client you did not follow up. The proposal that went out four days late. The fact that the week you get busy is the week the admin stops, which is precisely the week it matters.
You are already paying both. The question is only whether you keep paying them.

The workforce that runs this practice has its own page. Who is in it, what each one does, and the three rules none of them is allowed to overrule. It is the org chart of a one-person business, not a diagram of what is theoretically possible.
