Somebody in your corner, month after month.
For the build that is going to take a while and keeps changing shape, with somebody who has made the same move and spent years on the other side of the table when other people made it.
CHF 500 a month · minimum 3 month commitment · 3 written async check-ins · one sixty minute call
When people take this
- You have left, you are building, and there is nobody to ask before you commit to something.
- You keep making the same decision three times because nothing between calls holds you to it.
- You have a first client and no idea what the second one should cost.
- You went quiet for six weeks last time and only noticed afterwards.
- One conversation was not the problem. Having nowhere to put the next question was.
What you get each month
Three written async check-ins. The part that does the work. Send me the thing when it happens, not three weeks later when the call comes round. A draft proposal, a price you are about to quote, an email you do not want to send yet, a conversation that went sideways. You get a considered answer back in writing, which means you can act on it the same week and read it again later. One sixty minute call. For the thing that is too big for writing. We work through where you actually are, what is in the way, and what you are doing before we next speak. The next call is booked inside the current one. Never left to a follow-up email, because the failure this exists to fix is going quiet with nothing in the diary.
How it runs
Three months to start. One month is not long enough to tell whether anything is changing, and I would rather you could see the difference before you decide to carry on. If you are coming straight across from a piece of paid work with me, the minimum is waived. Monthly after that, and you can stop whenever. A reminder goes to you seven days before every renewal, so there is always a week in which to say no before anything is charged. You will never find out you are still paying for something because you forgot to cancel it.
What this is not
I am a chartered management accountant, not a tax adviser. This is your arithmetic on your own numbers, and I will not tell you what your number should be. If the answer needs somebody who knows your country's rules, get one. I am not a lawyer either, and I do not keep your books. I will not tell you what a contract is worth, whether to sign it, or how a clause would hold up. What I can tell you is how these decisions get made on the other side of the table, what is actually negotiable, and which questions are worth putting to somebody qualified.
Who this is not for
Not for one decision. If there is a single thing in front of you with a date attached, that is a Decision Call, and it costs less and finishes sooner. Not for somebody who has not started. This is support for work that is already moving. If you cannot yet say what you sell, start with what can I sell? There is nothing for a monthly rhythm to hold you to yet. Not a programme. There is no curriculum, no cohort and no twelve weeks. If what you want is the whole thing built in order, with other people doing it alongside you, that is the Studio.
What people say
Two of the people I work with, in their own words.
I worked with Lisa on a recent career move and I couldn't recommend her more. Her previous corporate experience combined with excellent coaching and mentoring skills add huge value for anyone taking and acting on a major career decision. I will also continue working with Lisa in my new role.
I'm currently working with Lisa as I navigate my next career move, and I can't recommend her highly enough. Drawing on her corporate experience and coaching skills, Lisa brings valuable insight, perspective, and guidance to important career decisions. Her attention to detail and clarity of vision are exceptional. I look forward to continuing to work with Lisa beyond this transition, as she has become a trusted partner in helping me shape and navigate my longer-term career path.
Questions
“What is a written check-in, exactly?”
You send me the thing. A proposal, a price, a message you are about to send, a decision you are stuck on. I read it properly and write back with what I think, where I would push, and what I would want to know before you commit. Three a month, so roughly one a week. It is capped on purpose. An open promise of unlimited access is one I cannot keep well, and the version I can keep is worth more than the version I cannot.
“Why not just book calls when I need them?”
Because you will not. The thing that goes wrong on your own is not a lack of answers, it is three weeks passing with a question sitting in your head and nowhere to put it. By the time the call comes round you have either guessed or stalled.
“Can I stop?”
After the first three months, any time. You get a reminder seven days before every renewal, so there is always a week in which to decide. The first three months are a minimum because one month tells you nothing, and I would rather you could see whether it works before you commit to more of it. If you are moving straight across from paid work with me, that minimum does not apply.
“Is this the same as the Studio?”
No. The Studio is twelve weeks, a group, a curriculum and a set of things you build in order. This is none of those. It is somebody to bring the question to, for as long as that is useful. People do both, usually in that order.
“What if I am not sure it is the right thing?”
Email me and describe where you are in three sentences. I will tell you honestly whether this is the right shape for it, including when the answer is a single call instead, or nothing yet.
CHF 500 a month, minimum three months. Three written async check-ins and a sixty minute call.
Tell me in three sentences what you are building and where you are stuck. I read every one and I will tell you honestly whether this is the right thing.
